Experimental Publication adaptation of ‘We Began by Measuring Distance’, a haunting video essay by Bisma Alsharif that explores Palestinian placelessness and homelessness informed by  the human condition in relation to the subjective experience of Political history.

The publication takes on the characteristics of past and future, utopia and dystopia, fiction and reality all coalescence uneasily, and the video essay’s poetic and activistic resistance is located in its ongoing contradictions, which are deliberately left ‘unsettled’andn reimagines it in still, paper format.
