(DESCRIPTION)

How do you communicate memory? Attachment? Longing? Jaani explores how to share a part of myself with others, my mother, and the things she has gifted me (abstract and concrete) through graphic manipulation and physical representations.

Exploring absence and what it means through blurred, textured visuals. Each post card is an image of my mother and I since childhood, manipulated to communicate the feelings of longing, memory and attachment I hold living far away from her.
