It Takes a Village…to raise a child. All of us stepped into RISD as children, ready to learn, ready to find ourselves and our practices, ready to find our callings. RISD GD became the home in which we found the guidance, care and freedom that allowed us to nurture our growth.

The identity deconstructs the nine floors of the RISD Design Center (a rounded window, an out-of-service elevator, a checkered floor, etc.) and puts it back together, reflecting the ways in which we each built our own experiences throughout our time in the department.

Identity in collaboration with Ollantay Avila, Kryeol Chen, Seunghyun Cho, Helen Peng, Catleya Qian, Ananya Scindia, Mighty Wanitprapha, Wendy Xu, and Ivy Zhang.

Publication and Merchandise in collaboration with Ollantay Avila, Nicole Ban, Seunghyun Cho, and Lily Joiner.
